This Privacy Policy explains how Any Means Creative collects, uses, stores, and protects information through AMP, the Any Means Portal, a video review and content distribution platform used by Any Means Creative and its clients.
Who this applies to
This policy applies to everyone who uses AMP, including Any Means Creative staff and the clients whose content is managed through it.
Information we collect
Account information. When you're given access to AMP, we collect your name and email address, used to create your login and to identify your feedback and activity within the platform.
Content you provide. This includes video and audio files, episode titles and descriptions, thumbnails, and any written feedback or comments you leave on that content.
Information from connected platforms. If you connect a YouTube channel or a podcast host to AMP, we collect and store the authorization tokens needed to publish content on your behalf, along with the resulting video or episode identifiers once something is published. We do not collect your YouTube or podcast host password at any point, authorization happens directly through that platform's own login screen, never through us.
Usage information. We keep a record of actions taken within AMP relevant to the service itself, such as when content is reviewed, approved, scheduled, or published, so the system and our staff can track an episode's status accurately.
How we use this information
We use the information above only to operate AMP itself: to store and display your content for review, to route feedback to the right people, to publish approved content to the platforms you've connected, and to notify you when something has been scheduled or published. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell your information to anyone.
Our use of information obtained through Google APIs, specifically the YouTube Data API, adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:
- We only use YouTube data to provide or improve the features visible to you directly within AMP, such as showing your channel's connection status or confirming a successful upload.
- We do not use YouTube data for advertising of any kind, including retargeting or interest-based advertising.
- We do not allow any person to read your YouTube data except where you've specifically agreed to it, where it's necessary for security or legal compliance, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.
- We do not transfer YouTube data to any other party except where necessary to provide the features described in this policy, such as sending a file to Cloudflare Stream for temporary hosting during review, or to YouTube itself to complete a publish you've requested.
How we store and protect information
Your information is stored using Supabase, a managed database provider, with access controlled at the database level so that each client can only ever see their own content, and only authorized Any Means Creative staff can see across clients. Video and audio files pass through Cloudflare Stream during the active review period and are stored long-term in Google Drive. Authorization tokens for connected platforms are stored using encrypted secret storage, never in plain text.
How long we keep information
Video and audio files remain on Cloudflare Stream only while actively under review, generally no more than two weeks, or until they're approved, whichever happens first, after which the temporary copy is deleted and only the permanent archival copy remains. For YouTube-specific data, revocation and deletion timelines are described in the YouTube section below. For any other data deletion request, we delete the corresponding information within 30 days of that request.
Your choices and rights
You can revoke AMP's access to your YouTube channel at any time through your Google Account's security settings, at myaccount.google.com/permissions. You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, request that we correct inaccurate information, or request that we delete your information, by contacting us using the information below. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information, so no opt-out action is necessary. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Third parties we work with
AMP relies on the following third-party services to operate: Supabase for our database and authentication, Cloudflare for temporary video hosting, Google Drive for permanent file storage, Trigger.dev for background processing, and, where you've connected them, YouTube and Megaphone for publishing. Each of these providers processes information solely to help us provide AMP's functionality to you, not for their own independent purposes.
YouTube
The Any Means Portal uses YouTube API Services to publish episodes to the YouTube channel you connect.
By connecting a channel you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, at https://www.youtube.com/t/terms

What we access. When you connect a channel, Google gives us permission to upload videos to it, to set or change their publish times and thumbnails, and to read back whether a video we uploaded is live. We do not read your subscriber list, your private videos, your messages, or anything else on your account.
What we store, and for how long.
- The authorization itself, so that scheduled episodes can publish without you being present. We keep this until you disconnect.
- The identifier of each video we uploaded for you, kept as our record of what we published on your behalf.
- View and engagement figures for those videos, refreshed at least every thirty days. Anything not refreshed within thirty days is deleted.
Withdrawing your permission. You can disconnect your channel at any time from your account settings in the portal. You can also remove our access directly from your Google account at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions
When you disconnect in the portal, we withdraw our access with Google and delete your authorization and the YouTube figures we hold within seven days. If you remove access at Google instead, we delete the same information within thirty days. Episodes already published remain on your channel and are yours.

Children's privacy
AMP is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

If we make a material change to how we handle your information, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you directly.
